Terms of Service

These are the terms for using Agency Packet. By creating an account or using the product, you're agreeing to them on behalf of yourself and, if you're setting up an agency account, your agency. Questions go to [email protected].

What Agency Packet is

Agency Packet is a checklist and process tool for insurance agencies. You assign a Packet, your team follows the steps, and you can see what's done and what's late. That's the whole product. We're not a compliance service, a legal service, or your agency management system.

Your account

You need an account to use Agency Packet. Give us real information, keep your password to yourself, and let us know if you think someone else got into your account. You're responsible for what happens under your login.

Agency owners and managers are responsible for who they invite to their agency's account and what access those people are given.

Plans and billing

Agency Packet has a free plan and paid plans, billed monthly through Stripe. Paid plans are billed per agency, not per employee. There's no annual contract. You can cancel anytime from your account settings, and your plan stays active through the end of the billing period you already paid for.

We don't do prorated refunds for a partial month. If something's actually wrong on our end, email us and we'll sort it out.

Acceptable use

Use Agency Packet the way it's meant to be used. Don't:

• Use it for anything illegal, or to store or share content you don't have the right to.
• Try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the product.
• Access another agency's account or data without permission.
• Resell or white-label access without a separate agreement with us.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this. We'll try to tell you why first, unless it's the kind of situation where that isn't reasonable (fraud, security, abuse).

Your data, your content

Whatever your agency puts into Agency Packet, the Packets you build, the notes you add, the process content, is yours. We don't claim ownership of it, and we don't use it to train anything or sell it to anyone. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it.

About our Packet templates and SOPs

The Packets and SOP resources we provide are starting points built for agencies in general, not a substitute for your own compliance review. Insurance requirements vary by state, carrier, and agency. You're responsible for reviewing and adapting anything we provide to fit your agency's actual obligations before relying on it. We're not providing legal, compliance, or insurance advice.

Availability

We aim to keep Agency Packet up and working, but we don't promise it'll be available every second of every day. We may need to take it down briefly for maintenance, and we'll try to do that at reasonable times.

Disclaimers

Agency Packet is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the product will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Agency Packet won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the product. Our total liability for any claim relating to Agency Packet is limited to the amount your agency paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Changes to the Service

We may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves. If we make a change that materially affects what you're paying for, we'll let you know.

Changes to these Terms

If we update these Terms in a material way, we'll notify you by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Agency Packet after that means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
