Privacy Policy

This describes what Agency Packet collects when you or your agency uses the product, why, and what you can do about it. Questions go to [email protected].

What we collect

Depending on how you use Agency Packet, we collect:

Account info. Your name, email, and password (stored as a hash, never in plain text).
Agency info. Your agency's name, the employees you add, and their roles (owner, manager, staff).
Product data. The Packets you assign, the steps your team completes, due dates, labels, and timestamps. This is the data that makes the product work.
Billing info. If you're on a paid plan, Stripe handles your card details. We never see or store your full card number. We keep your Stripe customer and subscription IDs so we know what plan you're on.
Technical info. IP address and browser user agent, logged with your login session for security purposes (detecting suspicious logins, not tracking you around the web).
Resource downloads. If you get a free SOP from our resource library, we collect the email (and name, if you give it) you enter, and whether you agreed to get follow-up emails.

We don't run ad trackers, and we don't sell your data. Full stop.

Why we collect it

To run the product: logins, assignments, notifications, and the dashboard you actually see.
To send transactional email: an assignment landed on you, a step is overdue, your password reset link. These come from Resend, our email provider.
To bill your agency, through Stripe.
To send you the SOP you asked for, and follow-up emails only if you opted in.
To provide support. If you email us with a problem, an Agency Packet team member may briefly view your account to help, using an access-logged support tool. We don't poke around accounts without a reason.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run Agency Packet. Each only gets what it needs to do its job:

Cloudflare hosts the app and database.
Stripe processes payments.
Resend delivers our emails.

We don't share your data with anyone else, and we don't sell it. If that ever changes for a specific case (like a legal request we're required to comply with), we'll tell you unless we're legally barred from doing so.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you signed in. That's it. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels. Your browser also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which involves a connection to Google's servers to fetch font files.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account and your agency's subscription are active. If you close your account or your agency cancels, we'll delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable time. If you want it gone sooner, email us and we'll take care of it.

Your rights

You can ask us to see what we have on you, correct it, or delete it, at any time. Email [email protected] and we'll handle it directly. No portal, no ticket number, just a real answer.

Kids

Agency Packet is built for insurance agency staff. It's not directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from minors.

Security

Passwords are hashed, connections are encrypted (HTTPS), and access to your agency's data is limited to people at your agency plus the support access described above. No system is unbreakable, but we take this seriously.
